The concept is based on fixing workpieces in vises, which are then placed directly into the machine tool for the machining process. This solution shortens setup time and increases clamping repeatability. A wide variety of workpieces can be clamped in the vises, and thanks to full integration, the system automatically adapts the machine’s machining program. This enables the efficient use of the entire setup to machine multiple components simultaneously without manual program changes by the operator.

Additionally, using the vises and the machine’s zero-point system eliminates the need to readjust robot loading positions, which significantly simplifies and accelerates the entire process.
